Assistant Manager Assesses Carabao Cup Exit

Arteta Reflects on 2-0 Defeat to West Ham United

Mikel Arteta spoke to the media on Wednesday afternoon at London Colney to preview the final game of the year at the Emirates Stadium versus West Ham.

The Spaniard was asked for his thoughts on the Carabao Cup exit to Manchester City, and he admitted that he takes responsibility for the result.

"I'm responsible for that and now we're out of the cup," he said.

Arteta also discussed the upcoming match against West Ham United, and he expressed his belief that his team can get back to winning ways.

"We need to learn from our mistakes and move on. We have a big game against West Ham on Thursday and we need to be ready," he said.
