The India vs. Pakistan match has ended with a thrilling victory for Pakistan by 5 wickets.

Pakistan finally broke their World Cup jinx against India, registering a thrilling five-wicket victory in a high-octane Super 12 match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Sunday.

After opting to bat first, India posted a challenging total of 151/7 on the board, courtesy of a brilliant half-century (57 off 48 balls) by former captain Virat Kohli. However, a clinical bowling performance from Pakistan, led by Shaheen Afridi, restricted India to a manageable score.

In response, Pakistan chased down the target with one over to spare, riding on a superb 82-run knock by Shan Masood. Captain Babar Azam (15) and Mohammad Rizwan (19) also made significant contributions, but it was Masood's timely innings that steered Pakistan over the line.

The victory marked Pakistan's first-ever triumph over India in a World Cup tournament, extending their unbeaten streak against their arch-rivals in this format to 4-0.
