Contract Details and Salary

Evan Rodrigues has inked a four-year contract with the Florida Panthers worth $12 million. The contract will commence during the 2023-2024 season and expire after the 2026-2027 season.

Previous Trades and Free Agency

Rodrigues' move to the Panthers comes after a trade with the Buffalo Sabres in which he and Conor Sheary were sent to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Dominik Kahun. Prior to his one-year tenure with the Penguins, Rodrigues was a free agent in 2022 and signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Stanley Cup-winning Colorado Avalanche.

In addition to his time with the Sabres, Penguins, and Avalanche, Rodrigues has also played for the Chicago Bears, signing a four-year contract worth $2,545,200 in 2014.
